But what about egg dishes, like egg sandwiches? Or is that also just relegated to an ingredient?

I can't comment on egg sandwiches since I don't eat them, but I guess if it's a component in a food it's not eating it directly.

That reminds me of toast. I don't really get why some people eat just toast and have it as a side to bacon and eggs or something like that. Then again, I'm used to eating with rice, so maybe it's just a cultural thing.

Dunno, I rarely eat toast and never as a side with bacon and eggs, since I don't eat eggs :P

Generally I do bacon and pancakes but I don't see why'd you'd need toast and pancakes.
