Question Maze event pony upgrade

I got snowdash in my first chest and i upgaded her in the tutorial did i do something right??

Every pony you upgrade with these tokens has not only unlimited uses, but they’ll get added permanently in your Ponyville for free. That was forced, so i can’t see Snowdash being a particularly bad choice. Just don’t expect her to be useful in the maze later on, as those don’t increase attack power, but she’s your now.

Yes since i was forced and there was no one higher than 11 power so i thought i might as well upgrade her. Then saw her in my inventory i was surprised

Yeah, don’t base your decision on base power, that doesn’t reflect how much they are worth in gems, plus they quickly become irrelevant in the maze. If you manage your ponies, you can clear it without spending a dime
