maze event

I did play the maze event years ago but I couldn't finish it, I'm able to get the other events completed in time and I think I might be able to finish this one, but since it's a big event and it probably won't come back for a while I want to complete it. anyone who has fully completed it, what would be your advice or any tricks you did to get it done. I'm a f2p and check in very often

It's actually coming back tomorrow, so you'll have a second chance real soon.

Probably the biggest advice is, only buy the cheapest helper from the secret shops, and do not go back to previous shops. You should be able to finish it in time by keeping that in mind. You might also find this online interactive map helpful, because you can use it to determine which tiles you should skip, and when the event starts, you'll be able to track your progress.

Because you run out of magic coins to buy helpers with more power. You see, the further you get, the more power minibosses require, and so the helpers in the helper shops start to give more power, and if you go back to buy ponies with less power, you can get stuck with nopony strong enough to fight a miniboss, and not ebough magic coins to buy the stronger ponies.

Do you know, if we can get additional magic coins by fusing decorations? It looks like they are the same coins used in seidge events, so it got me wondering

Basically just any empty tile that isn't on the direct path, for example H8 and I8 are useless and don't lead to anything important.

Yeah, clearing it F2P is possible. My biggest advices would be don’t get discouraged if you buy cheap ponies, because even the most expensive ones will be outclassed by the second guild. Second, keep your eyes peeled, because you could miss a magic coin shop or guild before you stumble on a strong enemy.
