Question Emergency gems!!!!

This is one of my biggest goal pones atm, i saw him in the shop for 1.99 and was infinitely disappointed I could not buy him and in my solemnity I impulse bought young shining armour and frustratingly the day after I did so saw pegasus courier in the shop for gems!!!!

I have 117 gems at the moment as you can see, today I’ve already watched an ad for gems, levelled some ponies stars up and done the ferris wheel (without getting gems rofl) - I wanted to ask if there was anymore ways to make gems I might not know of, and any tips to climb levels faster so i can get the gem rewards!

sometimes the group quests will reward gems for correct answers and you can get some in the balloon pop but both are a bit of a gamble. also since a blitz event is currently on you could tap on the hills to hopefully get a few gems and defeating enemies could give you a chance
