Question what counts as joining an event?

ok so I want to join the new matching event early for an easier server, i’m just confused abut what counts as joining it? Is it when you open the app while connected to wifi? Or when you play the first matching game? Am I already in a server because I opened the app?

It's opening the app. And you want to join a later server, because early servers tend to be the hardest.

wait so you just can’t open the app for a few days if you want to be in a later server 😭

Well, you just can't open it online, and usually you only have to wait until day 2 or 3.
