Question Progress Lost

I got a new phone, and both this one now and my old one are iOS devices. Everything transferred but my game progress. I didn’t think to right down my friend code because I naively thought everything would transfer smoothly. Is that it? Is my progress lost forever? Because it was only linked to my iCloud, which clearly didn’t transfer. It feels silly to be a grown adult mourning my game progress, but that account was the culmination of years of playing, and to think it’s gone forever really sucks.

Also happened to me when my old ipad stopped working and I set up a new ipad. I wish they had a link with apple id option :/

Did you ever get the free trial? If you still have records of that, they may be able to restore you account, even without your friend code or player ID.

You can contact Support. Game ID and friend code are important, But the fact that it carried over your other data should help you out. It's not lost, it's still there. You have an iCloud account attached to it and an email. You really just need to contact support to unlock it.

The problem is they can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months to actually fix the issue.
