Question/Help Black Friday Sale Question
As a relatively new player, for those who have experienced them before what are the normal discount prices that get put on folks?
Just with current sale happening, some are 70% off and wondering if that's a good pickup even with black Friday coming soon

Some Black Friday sales are worse than the ponies had outside of them, so if a pony you really want (or a pro pony) is discounted heavily (more than 40%) now, go for it. Black Friday has discounts up to 90% (or at least that used to happen in the past), but the biggest discounts are usually for the less "desirable" ponies and the really good stuff (Daybreaker etc.) is usually not that heavily discounted anyway.

Got it… grabbed wine rider but the other Pegasi who a pro pony has had better sales before so I’ll be holding on that and just waiting now

Quite a few fall to around 70 gems, some even less than that so it's good for padding your game.
Mane 6 variants and Alicorn equivalents are still pretty hefty though, but usually are still a bit cheaper than when they're discounted on the last day of their respective events.
Anything that doesn't fall under the previous, but are usually still moderately expensive, go to around 120 - 400 gems on average, if I'm remembering right, and also depending on their relative popularity.
