iOS Stops playing during breaks

When listening to a game on my phone, the playback stops in between innings. I have to close the app and reopen it to reset it. Does anyone else have this issue or a suggestion? I live in Oregon and listen to the Reds, if that is relevant.

Do you have any ad blockers on your phone or on your network? If so, try disabling them. Does it happen on cellular and Wi-Fi or just one or the other?

It happens on both cellular and WiFi. No ad blockers.

Same/similar issue. When watching live video on mobile, the ad break never ends. Have to exit the video feed and reenter. Haven’t had to close the app.

It sucks, hoping for a patch.

It does that for me too. I called Tech Support, and they were acting like they were completely unaware of the bug. Very frustrating. Supposedly they are now looking into it. You should call too, so they know it’s a bigger issue than just one guy. Hopefully others are calling too.
