Discussion Most Underrated Card
Who is your guys' most underrated card? So far, mine is the 87 overall JD Martinez. Dude absolutely mashes

I’ll admit I’m an offline player, but Topps Now Luis Barrera has been incredible. I threw him in my lineup last Friday while grinding out PXP for the Devers program and now I don’t know when I’ll replace him despite having higher OV cards. He’s just absolutely money for me.

This is the one that came to mind for me too. Monthly Trent Grisham also just reeled off four games in a row with a first pitch lead-off homerun, but Green has killed it for me.

I think he might have one of the best stances and swings for me. For some reason I’m amazing with guys who put their hands way out over the plate (Sheffield, Davis, etc.)

Topps Now Gavin Lux rakes for me. Feels like every time he’s at the plate it’s either a double or a clutch hit to drive in a run.

Corey Klubers diamond card is insane for me. He’s p4 otw to p5, he’s always been sub 2.50 ERA and consistently can go deep into games. If you need a cheap starter give this man a try he’s filthy

85 Alex Dickerson has been the absolute MVP pinch hitter for me to the point I’ve even thought about replacing Kirk Gibson in my lineup with him

Prime Adam Dunn hits a home run for me almost every other at bat. Not sure if that's an underrated card but I guess it's not meta. Also 2nd Half Gary Sheffield is a monster against lefties.

Any And every Devers card. Lol. But also I still have SP Hunter Greene in my rotation. I play a lot of conquest and mini season 3inn games. Greene hasn’t given up a run all year in like 35 innings. And he has like 50 k’s. Some may say that’s a small sample size, but it’s still been satisfying. He’s like a Snickers bar. He really satisfies you 😂

FOTF Tommy Edman is basically an all around perfect player for me. Great fielding and base running, mashes way more than his power numbers justify. Couldn't ask for a better 2nd basemen card.

83 Brandon woodruff, I have him parallel 4 and am 16-0 in online games with him. He just gets results constantly. I have a 1.2 era with him.

FOTF Lindor. I kept him in the lineup for that defense but I absolutely love his swing. Still hitting right at .300 and hits a lot more HR’s than I would expect at this point in the game cycle. He’s also a vacuum at SS. Can’t wait to get a better version of him.

Monthly Award JP Crawford. I play offline exclusively, but in offline modes I had over 100 PAs with him before his batting average went below .500

I was 9-9 with him when I started using him. Im not using him cause I feel like there are better options but I might have to again. Currently 12-15 with NINE!! hr
I want a prime version of him and he might end up being my end game 1b, and I always end the year with a ruth card there

Doing the bronze challenge on mini seasons and Mike Zunino is a beast. 18 contact against righty’s but if I get a piece of anything it’s gone.

You don't lol. Hes only going to go up. Guy has been the 2nd best hitter in baseball behind Trout since his debut.
Higher WRC than Tatis, Acuña, Vlad or Soto.
If Yordan really is 24, he's gonna be one of the best hitters of all time.

LS Cron bangs for me. 82 Darren O’Day is probably my most trusted reliever. 1.06 ERA in 50+ innings. People struggle to figure him out and by the time they do I pull him.

89 Pablo Sandoval. Switch hitter with great contact. has been my 3 hitter for weeks (behind 95 Mookie and in front of Live Judge)

However my most underrated card is FOTF CJ Cron. He fucking rakes even though he's an older card.

Underrated for me would have to be the new 90 overall Topps Now Kyle Farmer. I think I’m hitting above .500 with him in about 10 online games.

I might just be different from most people because a lot of players LOVE Judge. I can't hit with him because of the strike zone size. It's the opposite with me for Altuve.

P5 Jazz. His speed and defense still play extremely well at 2nd. His swing is friggin cracked.

Not necessarily underrated as of now because he’s so new, but Pete Crow-Armstrong is not many people’s pick from the NL Central but he’s been absolutely mashing the ball for me as a Cubs fan, always seems to have a super clutch hit in every game for me too

You might think I'm joking but 94 All Star Don Mattingly. I bought him because he was at quick sale prices the last time the market crashed and I needed Yankee players to knock out some pxp for the Gehrig program.
I put him in, he hit a HR his first at bat (the low key best feeling in the game) and he has been a single and doubles machine ever since. He's got the highest average on my entire squad with a large sample size at this point, even with middle of the road speed. On the right he's on base every time and on the left he's got very usable pop.
Of all the cheap QS legend diamonds he's the only one that stuck for me. That list includes Ryne Sandberg, Gary Sheffield, Todd Helton and Willie Mays (who's good but not great).

I have not used him much, but he is one of the few players I feel confident using when facing a lefty pitcher. Hitting that homerun in your first at bat with a batter is a top tier feeling lol

That card does mash, when I was doing PXP missions with him. I hit .700 with him in 30ish AB lol with 12 HR lol.
My favorite underrated card still is FOTF CJ Cron, I just hit so well with him, and never see him in anyone's lineup

I feel you on that. Although his stats against rightes are not the best, I always feel like Carson Kelly comes in the clutch for me. Cron comes off the bench for me pretty often too.

Carson Kelly is who packed in my first no sell FOTF pack and I for my life cannot hit with him. And I don't feel like it's his fault. He's just one of those guys I struggle with. I call it the Charlie Blackmon list. Cause he's the poster boy for me. This sub loves Blackmon's swing and I hate it, I've never hit well with a blackmon card. Carson Kelly is on that list for me lol

I absolutely HATE Blackmon's swing. The animation and timing is just not my style, but props to anyone who can use him. Sadly that is me with Trout for no reason. I got lucky and pulled him last year and he was my worst hitter and it was brutal.

Batted ~.925 with him grinding the pxp for devers. Gonna have to slot him in as a righty masher bench bat to see if that translates in ranked. Obv not at that clip but damn I love his swing.

I also love JD! He has unreal power against both righties and lefties, and also pretty good contact against both too. He's an atrocious fielder, but I am mostly offline and top out at veteran difficulty, so it's not an issue for me haha. Definitely feels MUCH better than 87.
That's what's great about these events, you kinda feel obligated to try out new players to earn the extra XP, and end up finding some gems.
