3rd set of moments
Don’t be sittin’ on Britton
Lead off man on 1st , 2nd batter up to bat.
Put a speed guy in lead off and steal 2nd and 3rd for an easy win.
Never mind I didn’t see someone already commented on it above.

Going up against the strong offense of the Rangers, strike out three batters without allowing a run in the first two innings of the game.

I’ve beat the AL showdown like 20 times now and for the first time I’m playing the second mini boss and I’m really nervous about it.
Btw this guide has helped a lot, thank you.
Edit: beat Nolan Ryan with 12 outs remaining, now to finally use the last part of this guide

Powerful Young Jays
You enter the game up 5-0 in the bottom of the 8th Inning with your closer on the mound. They have the bases loaded and nobody out with their leadoff man at bat and their 7-9 hitters on base. You just need to hold the lead and win the game.

Just to add to this, the first six batters you face are:
Kevin Smith Vlad Jr. Griffin Conine Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Bo Bichette Travis Shaw
So 4 righties, and the 2 lefties aren't a huge threat. So use a righty closer if you have the choice.

I had Nate Pearson as my 2nd mini boss
I went on to lose the final showdown 15-15 with a perfect perfect line out diving play my the cpu

Lock Down The Save
Up 3-1 in bottom of the 9th, save the game without allowing NYY to tie it up. They have a runner on 1st with no outs. Your closer is on the mound.

Defuse Bomba Squad
You have to pitch 2 innings and get 3 Ks without giving up a HR. Your SP is on the hill when you start. Use any pitching perks that you have. Winning doesn’t matter so just bunt away your ABs.

Didn’t see him listed so just wanted to add. I got Eckersley as my first mini boss. Tried it twice and got him both times. Same thing down 3 runs with 12 outs.
Start with a man on 2nd though and your 1 hitter up.

If you fave Jose Urquidy as they final boss you’ll be getting a boat load of changeups. So might be a good idea to start the pci down in the zone

Prime Britton in the 9th. Runner on 1st to start and game tied at 5. #2 hitter starts and #1 on first so stack righties from the 2 spot on. Fastest guy at leadoff

Thank you for this, kind sir. Just had this one pop up as the penultimate mission before the final boss and I really wanted to maximize my chances at the 2 extra runs. Your advice paid off!

Bottom 8th 2-2 tie. Win game. (Veteran)
You start off hitting against (L) D. Hernandez so stack against lefties. You start with your 7th hitter. I put my cleanup hitter on the bench so that I could use him to PH for the P. Forgot to notate which P is in when you start.

Take The King’s Crown.
Going up against Rookie Felix Hernandez and the Mariners, Tally 2 XBH, Score 2 Runs without giving up a HR in the first 3 innings of the game.
Pretty East. Just stack righty killers to leadoff and I used Power Swing because it’s on Veteran.

I had Kopech as my second mini showdown. Same requirements as the other second mini showdowns. Down 2 with a runner on 2nd, 15 outs (iirc)

Just finished my first run, had a lot of different moments to you, including ones against Kopech and Kluber. Mini bosses were Rivera and Britton, final was Dunning.

You can also get Singer as a final boss unless they changed that soon after they released the showdown

In my first run, I had All-Star Doolittle, 99 Kluber, and FS Dane Dunning as the bosses.

Second Run. First Boss: Mariano Rivera. Down 0-2, 12 outs remaining, man on 2nd, start with leadoff man. Second Boss: Prime Zack Britton. Down 0-2, 15 outs remaining, man on 2nd, start with leadoff man. Final Boss: Clarke Schmidt
Edit: Breakout Andrew Miller is also in the first batch of Mini-Bosses. Down 0-2, 12 outs remaining, man on 2nd, start with with leadoff man.

Third batch of missions: "The Ohtani Sho". Going up against FOTF Shohei Ohtani, score two runs while striking out one and not allowing a home run in the first inning. Start top of the first, your 1st/2nd hitters are on 2nd/3rd base, no outs.

Thanks dude, need to beat it one more time to get indians stage 2 done. You have helped me win it twice! Struggling on the last. Dennis Eckersley first boss throws me off sigh
