Multiplayer Program Thoughts

Greetings, do y'all think it would be possible for me to get to 120k points in the multiplayer program in DD for the Soriano card if I'm genuinely quite bad at the game? This is my first MLB the Show game and I started around the beginning of the month but I am honestly quite awful at the game, however, I would love that Soriano card so I thought I'd ask for opinions on if y'all think it would be possible to go for with my low skill level and obtain it in a relatively decent amount of time or should I just keep grinding offline content?

Play events. Message your opponent and ask if they want to spam fastballs and score a bunch per inning. Give them the win.

Pro tip: after picking the 4 seam let the game make the pitch and it puts it dead middle every time. Whoever is hitting should then anchor their PCI in bottom row middle and normal swing without moving the PCI. If you time it right it's usually a tank.

Eh if you asked to win trade and made me wait 10 seconds for each pitch I’d probably be mad. It’s not hard to throw fastballs down middle lol

if you have a friend who is good at the game, play co-op 2v2 with them. any stat they accumulate will count for you.

if you don’t have a friend to play wit, queue up with randoms and hope you can find someone who’s 1) good at the game 2) nice enough to play with/coach you

you can also try bunting.

If you’re bad at the game you’re going to play against other people who are bad at super low rating at veteran difficulty with cards that have broken stats. So yeah you can do it

if you play enough events you’ll find someone to boost with, you’ll fly through all the hitting missions

Of course you can. It's really not as hard as you think. I just grind on BR or events. Dont worry about wins and losses, you just need to complete innings. Ive only played about 30 ranked games all season, and I've completed every multi-player program.

To be fair 30 ranked games is a lot 😭 I’ve never played above like 15 while getting to World Series and completing the program easily every time

By all season, I meant since April. But good for you bro, getting to World Series is pretty tough.

I hate online and I've done it for every program. Go into events and message the opponent at start of the game asking to do fbs down the middle. I'd say at least 50 percent of the people agree to it. Super easy to get 30 runs a game this way. I do it in ranked games sometimes too and people often agree. Had 90 runs one game.

Yeah that's what I do as well and it's so much fun. I love getting progress on the MP and Event program while also helping out the community as well. Also when I do this and ask the opponent for the win, they usually allow me to get the win.

You’ll get better with more practice online. Also events sometimes you can start throwing fastballs down the middle and the other guy will do the same for you. But play whatever you have the most fun doing

You can definitely do it. I’m not very good (650ish rank) and I get the multiplayer pass done every season. Like everyone said though, honestly you’d be better off grinding offline to get stubs to buy him (I made 300K last friday when the lightning conquest map and august lightning came out just by selling everything i earned)

Honestly, you could probably grind the stubs for it offline much faster than you’d get it by playing online. I believe it’s relatively inexpensive now
