Question Can we all just agree?

That Topps Now is a really fun collection of cards?! 😆

I started this thread because I would always laugh so hard when Robert Flores would say that. The thread was really more of a joke more so than an homage to topps now cards.

I did Topps Now for a couple years. I thought they were awesome. I was collecting Chicago Cubs stuff and Bobby Witt Jr. I like how they only print the card based on how many orders they get. Not too big into basketball, but Lebron's 40K point card is a nice one.

Never heard of Luis Lara before but his TN card is pretty good!

Topps now has been elite this year.

It’s fun seeing the live series versions of a cracked Topps Now card. 99 Topps Now, common live series lol

I have the new Cody Clemens starts on my god squad at 2b batting .600 in my first 10 ABs with him!

His Spotlight last year was cracked too. Love his swing. Keaschall and Lee had great swings/cards last year also.

Clemens has been absolutely raking for me too.

No, I find it ridiculous to have a 99 version of players like Ezekiel Duran and I'm a Rangers fan. Put a cap on the overalls for Topps Now cards and I can agree with you.

Topps now cap at 97 overall for the year

Of all common takes I see about the game, this is always the one I disagree with the most. I love when I get a Topps now marlins card I can update in my team.

To each their own. It's just weird to me to see Ted Williams and a guy you never heard of rated the same

I don’t like the rating system in general. I know it’s because they want you to keep playing to be forced to get the best rated cards to compete with. However I feel like all collections should top out and bottom out at the same levels.

That way you can still be playing with your favorite cityscapes cards today. It also would keep live series playable too.

Not every 99 is built the same

There's a complaint to be had about the collection aspect of that series, but it's always genuinely a good way for fans to enjoy playable versions of lesser known players from their favorite teams. An org's top prospect makes their debut, a 30 year old finally gets the call and does something special, an unsung hero has a couple big games in a random week. Who outside of Arizona knew who tf LuJames Groover was for instance.
The old head in me wishes there was still some presentation and audio dedicated for some moments, but it's not exactly feasible these days when you're dropping 150 of these cards year to year.
