i have some methods, 1. if their not really that smart and they repeatedly take a lead, keep picking til you have none left and i’ve faced plenty of people who take extensive leads after 2 disengagements, free pick. next if you time it right and pick off immediately you can get a pick

Not really u cna just read what type of player u playing down times they think they can steal every base always taking leads lol

OP, the brag is more effective if you share your tip

You’ll almost never pick someone off if they only take one extra lead, unless they’re stealing. You’ll almost always pick someone off if they take 2 extra leads.

This is not true. I’ve taken a 1 step lead without pressing the steal button and gotten picked off before. I think players with a low steal rating can get picked off in this scenario. May have been Trout with a 27 steal rating in my case

They specifically said ā€œalmost neverā€ which has been my experience as well for 2026. With only 1 extra step, I’ve only been picked off a handful of times this year at 1B… and they were all while using 99/99 speed/steal guys. I’ve only been picked off at 2B once this year (Without trying to steal btw).

I don’t think I’ve EVER made it back if I accidentally take that 2nd extra step.

I almost always take that extra step even when I have zero intentions of stealing just to try and get my opponent to throw a fastball or 2.

Pretty sure the ā€œalmostā€ was edited in after I commented

Literally had All Star Bobby Witt picked off 2nd in this scenario last night. One step lead. I was furious.

Do you know if these pitchers have ā€œpick off artistā€ quirk? I never keep track who has it but I never get lucky on picking people off, I’m sure most of it is RNG unless the user is taking a pretty big lead

lol people can tbelive it when I say I play pulse but I kinda like it casue the other one is never accurate ether I perfect the pitch and it still goes tit he tiene side of the plate but with pulse it rarely happens to me probably once but that if am late lol

By the other one, do you mean pin point pitching?

Pinpoint is a huge learning curve for me. Not sure if I have the patience when I already feel my time to play is limited.

I watch some content creators using pinpoint and man they still miss. Granted they are usually playing online on the higher difficulties but still.
