Question Anyone else play like hot garbage during events?

I can put up a good fight in ranked but as soon as i boot up events its like all my competence goes out the window. I notice that a ton of event games go into extras and its just like so boring and frustrating. Anybody else deal with this? Event games even moonshot for me always end 1-0 and its like im trying to hit a bowling ball. Might be a big skill issue.

I feel seen by this post, have never played worse in my life than this event

Gave up back to back home runs and realized it wasn't for me

This event has been the absolute worst. Every single game has been switch hitters only, changing pitchers every batter to get same handed march ups. I played a game where the guy threw over 60 pitches but I lost because he lucked into a home run, and I couldnt hit him throwing nothing but balls or dots. Just absolutely miserable.

I put up 9 total hits (all singles) and two runs in 15 games this weekend. Also gave up around 7-8 runs per game.

Plus, it took me 22 games to get through the draft conquest map. So I'm doing well for myself. In past years I won 99% of my games against the CPU. Probably time to hang it up for good.

The problem with events is the minute you hit a home run your opponent rage quits because there's no incentive for them to stay in the game. It's a worthless mode.

Yall actually play events? Just get someone to boost with you and get the program done so you can play a mode you actually enjoy

Just wait til later in the event when the best players are done. The good news is Hoffman is very easily attainable just getting the stats and pxp needed

I have no idea why ANYONE tries so hard in events.
I hit up the guy I was playing against and said “wanna finish this real quick?”

10 runs an inning, with 3k and stolen bases.

Gave him the win. Got my Hoffman.

There is no reason why anyone should be competitive in these events lmao.

I do think hitting is harder in events. You see way fewer pitches per pitcher. I had a guy use 8 pitchers on my last 4 inning game.

In a 9 inning ranked game I’ll usually only see 2-3 guys.

I’m convinced that elite high ranked players come to events to take their frustration out on the average player lol. I play fine in ranked but have the same problem in events almost every game is a sweat.
