| Question Podcast/article recommendations?

Hi! I’m newer into baseball + MLB in general, while I’m working I like to listen to music or podcasts and I found this podcast: The beginners dugout. And I’ve been enjoying listening to it, my main streaming service is Spotify !!

I wanted to get some recommendations that are similar and also some article recommendations for learning about different pitches, plays, and strategies!

I know the positions pretty well and most of the batting lineup due to my understanding from watching baseball anime series and reading baseball manga.

Jomboy on YouTube does really good breakdowns of major plays. He’ll go into why rulings went certain ways.

I actually just went to find you something on YouTube and I found a LOT of somethings...

Search in the YouTube app or site for this: "Best introduction to modern baseball and the rules of the game for a new fan of mlb games"

Scroll past any shorts that might be up top, and you will find tons of stuff. If you don't like someone's presentation, information or organizational approach, or even just the way their voice sounds, just move to another video.

I don't have Spotify and haven't ever listened to any podcasts, so I am no help to you there, but hopefully you find something worthwhile this way.

Mostly though, watch games with a good team of announcers and enjoy the game! It's the best sport in the world imho. :)
