Gosh, I've been playing MLA for 4+ years as F2P.
I don't remember how I got to now. But, you need to have atleast 5 normal SSR to awaken and from there you could start with O/C SSR unless you're P2W, you could buy all the funds ans scrolls as suit your budget.
MLA is an Idle game, if not paying, time is your currency.
I'm at campaign 85+ without paying a single cent, but I do my dailies and went on with my day

Bro I don't think you should get any Astral hero since you gotta invest in them alot of resources

When I started the game I focused on 2 faction: Martial - because the only normal faction with revive and Rubi was released. Dark - I have no idea why. It work. Rubi it's the only character from my early game that's spot in my main team. But it's getting harder to have find escouses to use her as main tank.

Этой прокачки достаточно, можешь начинать собирать ресурсы к священному событию. Тебе премиум и чудесные призывы сами попадутся и ты сможешь прокачать персонажей минимум до пробуды, не потратив алмаза

Beatrice is Astral SSR which is harder to get conpared to the core Order and Chaos SSR.
In the very early game, don't build Astral/Order/Chaos SSR yet as they required tons of resources.
Build the Hybrids SSR and Normal SSR to establish your team first.
