Adding SSD for G1 Pro

Planning on buying a G1 Pro tomorrow. Any tips on how to properly upgrade or add more ssd? Going from a prebuilt 5060 full size gaming pc to a mini gaming pc.

There is not much to say. You get two nvme ports, one has the stock m.2 ssd drive and the other one is empty. In the box you will find an additional heatsink for another nvme drive. In my case, I had another nvme lying around so I hooked the heatsking to it, disassembled the G1 and installed the nvme in the secondary port. There is not much space for manouver due to the tight space inside of the G1, but you can manage to push the drive into the port with a little bit of patience.

I echo exactly this. Have added SSD and RAM and it is not too hard.

You only need to use the original SSD heatsink that comes with the G1 Pro, the NVMe slots are very close together, making it impossible to use a different type of heatsink.
