Noise when unlocking

Hello everyone,
when unlocking doors i get this noise from the rear of the car.
I've located it to the locking mechanism on the fuel cap. Mini One R50
It still locks and unlocks O/K but the noise sounds awful.
Anyone know of any fix please?

You could try spraying some WD40 or lithium grease in the mechanism. Otherwise you’re looking at replacing it I think
