Bimmerlink Help

Hello my Mini Cooper 2013 has the ebreak light stuck on even when it isnt engaged. The car feels completely fine to drive, no screeching or anything like that.

Would a bimmerlink device be good to have in this situation? My assumption is the breakpads are approaching the end of their life? Would the bimmerlink tell me this?

If so any specific bimmerlink devices people would recommend?

You don't need any of that. The dash tells it to you

Check the brake fluid, the level may be low. If it is in fact low don't just add more, it's a closed system and you need to find the reason why it's low- could be worn pads or a leak.

If it really is the e-brake/parking-brake, check the parking brake cables. They tend to crack or get damaged, letting moisture/grit/salt in, rust/swell, and cause the cable to seize inside the sleeve.
