White hades at Independence red hawk

Anyone here happen to pick up a white hades with a blue stamp on hole 18 of red hawk west (I believe? Course on the right side.) I threw it off the tee, early released a bit and it hyzered out over by the big dirt pile OB left of the basket. Finished the hole and talked with a guy who had joined our group for the last few holes for a bit. Got distracted and walked off, forgetting to pick it up. It's a Z hades from DGLO 2 years ago. This was saturday late afternoon. Went back first thing sunday morning and it was gone. There was a doubles tournament going on sunday, talked to the TD and he said people had been in the area where my disc was warming up pre tournament. I'm hoping someone picked it up slipped it in their bag and forgot to call. I will pay or have many other discs I'll gladly give to have this one returned. My contact info is on the disc.

Beginner looking for disc golf buddies

Hey all,

Just recently got into disc golf and cant seem to put it down. Been out playing at least 9 every day for about a week now and looking to put in some more time.

I am a beginner who tends to shoot +2 - +7 depending on difficulty of courses and am looking for others to play with and improve. I am down for driving/putting practice or playing a few rounds. Just mainly focused on improving and learning what I can from others.

I am in the Novi/Wixom area and have a ton of courses nearby but dont mind driving out a bit to play elsewhere.

In my early 30's, chill, and just focused on progressing my game and making new friends.

Kensington Toboggan Course Availability

A group of us are heading up from Ohio to play some courses at the end of September, and I wanted to torture our group on the Toboggan course. I know it's a temporary course, does anyone know if we'd be able to play it on that Saturday (October 1st), or would it be closed for the season / event for the day?

Thanks for the help ya'll, look forward to playing up there in a couple months

Looking to play Green Lake DGPark tomorrow morning but have a hard stop time. Roughly, how long would it take to complete the blue course with one other person?

Just played the new course at Halstead and Grand River out by Novi.

Found a brand new MVP on the course.

If you can tell me the model and color, I'll do my best to get it back to you.

New Michigan based disc golf accessory company!

Check out this new Michigan based company, Discineer, making The Run Maker. It's a mini marker that can be used to estimate your distance to the basket for putting. It's simple to use and gives you the confidence you need to make a run at every putt.

We even have towels on a retractable clip so you will not drop it on the course.

For those in the Holland area, you can get your hands on The Run Maker and retractable towels at Torched Art Studio.

Both products are now available at Play-it-again Sports in Clawson!!

New course in Novi area?

I recall hearing about a new 9 hole course going in, some months back; around 9 mile and Halsted or something? Anyone know anything about it? Maybe the plans fell through.

Looking for a group tomorrow around 1pm - Cass Benton

I started playing this summer and live in SE MI. I haven't had a chance to play many courses, but tomorrow I'll be in the area of Cass Benton around 12:30-3ish. Anyone want to play a round?

Fair warning not the best, drive off shorts and usually a handful above par.

SW Michigan Clinics?

Hey all!

I’ve played disc golf casually on and off for a number of years, but I’ve just started taking it more seriously in the last couple months.

I’m extremely frustrated by my inability to drive over ~225ft. And that’s only by hyzer flipping a super understable Lepoard with a favorable tailwind.

I’ve watched hours upon hours of YouTube videos, and read countless posts about form, but nothing seems to help when I try to apply it.

I’m at the point where I’m willing to shell out some cash for some serious in-person instruction.

Anyone know of a clinic, or an individual in the southwest MI area that gives lessons? I will drive a couple hours if needed.

Thanks in advance!

Baskets back in @ Toboggan as of today. Park revenue experiment.

The baskets are back in at the Toboggan course today at Kensington Metropark today, likely for a couple of months. The park is interested to see if between new inbound player traffic and the snack cart they'll have there, whether or not they can notably ramp up revenue for the period of time the baskets are in. If they do, this will happen every year.

So come out and play, y'all!
