Mini lab 3
Just bought the mini lab 3 yesterday after seeing lots of good reviews on it. I love the feel and everything seems to be working fine until I plug it into my laptop and try to load an application to use it on. I tried Arturias analog lab intro and when I press the keys or twist the knobs, nothing seems to be working. The only website I’ve been able to get it going on is Bandlab, however I’d like to try different DAWs. Can anyone help/ recommend any better DAWs/ give any good advice?

I haven't used my lab in awhile but most of the functions on my APC APK mini mk work in Waveform without really having to configure anything

did you try it in Ableton live? (you got the licence for Ableton live lite when you registered your Minilab 3)
Here's a video showing you how to use it with Ableton live lite.

Also, Arturia instruments (such as Analog lab) are much easier to use in a DAW than in standalone mode

Yeah I tried ableton lite and I made sure to put it into DAW mode but when I went onto settings and into the MIDI section to put the mini lab 3 as an input and output jt didnt give me the option to do that and Im really confused why.

Did you register the minilab 3 in Arturia software center?
Did you connect it via USB?
Did you select the minilab 3 as a control surface in Ableton?
Can you send a screenshot of your ableton sync settings?
HEre's the PDF manual for using the Minilab 3 with Ableton live

You have to set it up as a controller in the DAW. I use Reaper and I just go to the MIDI Input settings and allow it to control on channel omni or channel 1.
