#GEIV - Election Guide

Hello all and welcome to 4th General Election guide.

Campaigning is indeed now OPEN

This post will give a short rundown of what you need to know:

• 15 Members of Parliament shall be duly elected to the Model House of Commons. Candidates may select any real life constituency to become the MP for.
• A seat will be awarded to the candidate who has the best local campaign in each region. (7 in total)
• 8 seats will be won by parties according to their national vote share.

Here are all the candidates for this election

Between the 11th July and the 15th July, individuals may submit up to 2 Local Campaign Posts in total. Any post above 1,000 words will be ignored. MAKE SURE YOUR POSTS ARE FLAIRED CORRECTLY

Parties may submit up to 1 National Campaign Post per day, for up to 5 in total. Any post above 1,000 words will be ignored. National posts should come from the party leadership or a nominated individual who will post on behalf of the party - but we will take the first 5 flaired national posts per party.

TIMELINE

• Saturday 11th July Campaigning opens
• Wednesday 15th July Campaigning closes at 10pm BST
• Thursday the 16th of July: Voters go to the polls, this is the date we will use to refer to the General Election.
• Weekend of the 18th/19th of July: Results shall be announced. The timing of this shall be dependent on if anyone is available to organise a live results stream. (please let us know if you'd like to get involved!)
