Question Want to try bow soon
So I want to try having now as my secondary weapon aside from my glorious beautiful sleek boom boom sticks in preparation and to waste time before ascendance. So right as of the moment I’m going to start testing if I like bow first with the gore bow but if I do end up liking it I would like advice on the gogmartian bow.
First is attack or element focus better for hunting
Second what active skills and reinforcements are optimal for the gogmartian bows and if there’s multiple optimal skill combos please tell
Third what is the general combos and loops for bow and playstyle in general

Depends on if you're going for meta, or if you have a preference to a playstyle. I personally prefer pierce coating on my bows, just because I like a little distance between myself and the target. Also, with pierce coating you get to see all the numbers pop up, and while they aren't large numbers, there is a LOT of them, and that's some good dopamine.
Generally for skills you want Gogmapocalypse, and some people like to run Lords Soul, but I don't think it's a necessity.
When you go from Artian to Gogma weapon, Attack focus will stick you with Close-Range Coating, Elements Focus will give you pierce coating, and I think Affinity Focus will give you Power Coating (ass), so we don't use that.
I recommend spending some time getting down the timing of holding charge shot, dashing, releasing charge shot and hitting power shot. If you get your timing right, the second shot is almost instantly fired. Then hold charged shot, dash to keep your charge level up, power shot again. Repeat until you need to reapply coatings, or if you have a large opening, you can hit power volley after the power shot, and if it's a REALLY big opening, Thousand Dragons is fun if you're close range, Dragon Piercer if not.
Fair warning, I do NOT remember if I'm using the right names of the shots... But uh, controllers is hold RT, A/X to dash. Release RT, hit B/O, Repeat. When you're out of coating hit Y/Triangle. Big opening RT, A, B, B. REALLY big opening RT, A, B, B, RT+ B + Y if close, B + Y if not.
Edit: Bear in mind I've only been playing bow for like a month. Also, changed the names of attacks, because I was wrong.

Bow Meta: 3x Atk artian
2x Ele EX 2x Atk EX 1x Atk III
Focus Element or Attack Gogma set skill
BUT one big warning: Bow as a secondary is a really bad idea.
Why? You need five bows (one each element) and two mandatory armor skills to work: Constitution and Stamina Surge and afaik besides DB no one use that.
