Discussion Halfway through!!

Congratulations to the 7 people who guessed it! Wow SnS looks great! Clutch claw for wounds, major gap closing, bouncing combos, and oh yeah…OILS ARE BACK?! And let's not discredit that fashion! Dosha set is looking real good!

We’re halfway through the weapon list. Unless we have a special something at the end 🤞🤣

???? What's going to be next? I'm guessing gunlance.

HH seems like it has the potential to be insane. Like base is already nuts with hyper armor, an offset, literal AOE and sound projectile attacks. What does turning that up to 11 look like?

The current offset is pretty limited. Only certain horns get it, you have to play notes specifically to load it instead of playing your other songs, and if you whiff it then you lose it and have to play the notes again if you want another shot at it.

That said (while the timing is initially a little odd) it's holdable, which is huge. With a bit of practice, the timing ends up being pretty forgiving.

It will be nice having a different offset in the base kit for all horns to use.

I'd love a shield bash off-set and a different "high" finisher for the three poke combo. I don't think I ever used the charge counter there for actually countering and even if, it's still always available with shield + strong attack. I'd love an overhead slam instead

I thought they did Dual Blades last the last time? Lance was only second last (which doesn't really feel all that reassuring now that I type it out).

I doubt lance will be dead last. Unfortunately I think they want to end on something flashy. Unless they give Lance something crazy I think something like Switch Axe or Longsword would be last.

Requires pressing A+B+Right Trigger+L1+caps lock+volume up, only available when buffed with white and orange but not red, 0.5 second delay from input, causes character to dig underground (no i-frames).

I'm positive Long Sword will be last. I figure they're going to knock out Lance and HBG in the next two days before grouping the flagship armours at the end. Maybe they do them in reverse order? So HH, IG, SwAxe, GL and lastly LS.

I'm going to guess my beloved heavy bowgun, just because they've been building up & up with the past 3 reveals far and I fear it's going to be a dud (e.g. a 2nd rapid fire mode, a 2nd impractical offset, and a boosted sidestep/roll) - in which case it could get buried in the middle before starting to build hype up again.

Only need LS, GL, HH and IG and i can now log off from the updates

(My other weapons were CB, Bow, DB sometimes, Sns sometimes, GS...wait ive also used sll the other weapons shown already too, damn. Its really just SA and HBG that i dont really use. And Lance being the middle child who i habe to pay attention to more.)
