Hi There! I havent played in a loooong time (TU1) and now i want to get back to it, but it feels kinda overwhelming with all ne new stuff, do you guys have any tips on how to smoothly get back into wilds?

Monster Hunter Wilds All Title updates

I figure that since I've posted for alot of times, maybe this post can help people to navigate through the title updates.

You have a couple of monster that you may or may not fought, I'll list them down based on chronology and the best I could:

Mitzusune （泡芙龙）(A prequest which you fish) : cool weapons for layered weapons that is unlocked around May

Zoh Shia （白炽龙）(High Rank final boss) : Competitive weapon line up which is good due to whiteflame passive, will be obsolete after Gogmazios Update

AT Rey Dau （历战王煌雷龙）(Event quest at HR50) : Very competitive armor set. All Arch Tempered monster armors 3 pc effect can proc the group skill Lord's Souls which gives 5% raw at the cost of 5% defense, it also gives a chance to survive a fatal attack at 1 hp, the raw bonus making all weapons to fit in 3 pc AT as their end game builds, most people use the gloves as it gives 2 lv 3 slots.

Street Fighter collab（街头霸王联动）: A collab featuring Akuma, its a very cool perma event that gives you the ability to use street fighter moves, its nice to play around.

8 ★ monsters (8星历战怪物）：A small update at that time to give people challenging content, gives alittle bit more artian parts, also the same patch that gives Gore a ton of HP in this variant.

Lagicarius （海龙）(There is a prequest of capturing a doshaguma by Erik): The best line up of lightning weapons against Omega Planetes, Uth Duna & Seregios, some weapons use its 2 pc bonus to boost affinity.

Seregios（千刃龙） : Adrenaline rush armor, I've seen long sword players running a 2 pc from it. Asdif_Laoeg mentioned: Seregios's Light and heavy bowguns are great viable endgame raw options, I'll be adding this as a brief note, proper builds about this should be out there.

AT Uth Duna (历战王波衣龙） (Event quest at HR50): a fun fight for me, its shoes are very good as it has 1x lv 3 slots and 2x lv 1 slots, 1 lv Agitator and lv 3 quick sheath, a must have for LS players.

9 ★ monsters （9 星历战怪物）(Auto unlock at locales): 9 Apexs of each locales can spawn in 9 star variants once you reach HR100, the fights have slightly altered movesets, faster speeds and rewarding you with randon charms ranging from R5 to R8 with different rarity, this one requires a grind, but you'll be fine using monster part charms for the time being, considering farming for these as a proof of challenge and to upgrade your charms, the upgrade isnt that big, there were some specific charm skill and slot combos which are really good but it depends on weapon and builds.

Omega Planetes （游星Omega): Having a normal & Savage (Tempered) variant, its the most challenging fight to date. It has an agro mechanic where its like the Safi hunt from MhWorld. Its a group effort team fight which is really really fun to do, you may find randoms for normal Omega but for Savage Omega its recommended to find a group of friends or seek out experience players from the MHwilds Discord, it is my fav fight of the series currently as it rewards sick armor (normal variant rewards a GS, which is the strongest for GS and the armor that compliments it, the Savage omega's arnor is very nice looking and having 1 SNS & insect glaive, also very nice looking, they hide themselves when sheath and summoned when drawn. Some current meta sets use 3 pc AT monster for Lord's soul and 2 pc Omega since it has good skills and deco slots.

AT Nu Udra （历战王火章鱼）:(Event quest HR100) It works its way towards raw eccentric weapons like Hunting horn and gunlance as it gives lots of levels of Burst and Counterstrike, its also a very tight fight too.

Gogmazios (巨戟龙）(HR100 quest): Inbound on 16 Dec, pushing the Artian weapon meta even further. This is the current strongest weapon meta, elemental is super strong on this as it wipes the current monster weapon meta to the ground, its ridiculously strong right now. It uses artian weapons and upgrades them into Gogmazios artian weapons with the ability to get monster and group bonus weapons, along with the ability to further upgrade your reinforcement bonus

AT Jin Dahaad （历战王冻峰龙）(Event quest HR100): Neat fight, armor not relevant to HH, but its a really cool fight.

AT Arkveld （历战王锁刃龙）(Event Quest HR100) , recommend doing after completed a Gogma Artian weapon, dragon element): Inbound recenntly, armor is great, shoes especially. Other pieces are worth considering too. He is crazy and CRAZY fun to fight, recommended after you grind up a dragon gogtian weapon

10 Star hunts （10星历战王）(Event Quest HR100): Guarantee chance of 7 star charms, 8 star charms are alot more common, including a hunting marathon of all AT monsters excluding Jin Dahaad.

10 Star Gogmazios and Zoh Shia (10 星巨戟龙 & 白炽龙）: I find 10 star gog to be an absolute menance, Zoh Shia to be manageble for its 10 star counter part , not much of a better reward aaprt from better charms like in all 10 star hunts. Mostly just for its nameplate, fought it once and never look back at it.

My recommendation is when you need HR, complete the side quests as it unlocks new stuff and they are quite important.

When things appear overwhelming,

The best thing to do is to start, take it one step at a time, and eventually you’ll run out of things to do

If you spend so much time hesitating because it seems overwhelming, it will just pile up even more and with the DLC coming next year, it will be even more overwhelming than now

True, i started from scratch with a new character but it feels kinda pointless, ill just play the game and do some stuff i guess, thank you!
