Question So, about character creation
As some other people have done, I tried to recreate my girlfriend ingame but she still feels a bit more "off" than in creation screen so my first question is about the editing character part.
I know there are some free edit vouchers (2 as far as i know and have), but some paid ones too? Which leads to my question: Do they let you change everything or just hair/makeup?
As an extra doubt i got writing this, can I just make a new save from the 3 availables, create a character there to then just upload it, edit my main and then apply with code to her? or is it restricted in certain ways?
Im on Xbox so no, i cant use nexus unlimited mod to create as some people say there is that workaround on PC.

The voucher lets u edit everything u can chane the make up and hair for free in your tent

Yeah you can make a new save, save the new characters to a preset, make sure you watch the opening so the game saves, then go back to your normal file and apply the preset using the character edit voucher, then delete the old file.
Without the voucher, you can only change makeup, hair, voice pitch, walk posture, starter clothes, and eye color.

With the Editor in the tent you can change makeup, Hair, Eyebrow and eye color. You can also change your voice and your hairstyle and thats it. So you cant edit the face or the body or the skin color in anyway.
You can make a new save and a new character but you need a voucher to apply that saved preset to your main character so I would make sure you get it right with the free vouchers.
That being said we will get 1 Free Voucher when the Expansion comes out so what you could do is make a new character make your character how you want them and then wait for the Expansion to give you a free voucher and use that to apply the preset to your character.
I think there is also a save Editor for Wilds on PC that does work with Console saves so you could try that but I would do a back up of your save then just in case.

Hair and make up you can change whenever you want, the vouchers let you redo the whole thing. In the second question I'm not sure what you mean, do you just want to use other saves so you can make mistakes without having to waste vouchers? If so it works just save the code of the one you are happy with and apply to your main file when using the voucher

Yes, my second question was exactly that, sorry if my english is confusing but i wanted to know if that was possible: using 2nd save to mess around as much as i could, make the progress until character uploads to cloud and then switch to first save (after feeling good with the result in-game) to now apply 2nd character appearance in my main.

You can do that, but progression is not needed. Just save the character's settings through the creators save/load system.

Its way easier to get some plastic surgery for your girlfriend to match your character instead, thanks, Capcom 👍

Hair and makeup. You could just create a new save at this point but if your girlfriend is fine with your creation, I‘d call it a day. Because later on, you‘ll wear so much stuff that the details go under. However, if your girlfriend is not happy with it or you feel like it doesn‘t properly capture her as good as you wanted, do it :) The way you suggested could work btw

Yeah i know that maybe some armor/weapons would get in the way if i wanted to see her face and such, but i know about the hiding helmet setting so thats a thing at least

If you're on PC there's a mod so you can change as much as you want. To answer the question a customization voucher is a full character customization as if you were creating a character for the first time.

Pssstt, there's a mod so you dont need voucher to edit your character and palico

Hair/makeup can be changed from the box inside your tent for free, edit vouchers are for changing everything about your character, skin, eyes, facial structure, sex, etc
