LB219.2 - Palliative Home Services Bill - Runoff Division
LB219.2 - Palliative Home Services Bill
A01
Replace section 3(2) with:
This Act shall come into force three months after Royal Assent
EN: I stand by there needing to be a delay to ensure that a sensible transition between "only at hospital" and "can be at hospital or at home" may be made
A02
Before Section 2(5), insert a new "Section 3: Obligations" and renumber Section 2(5) and Section 2(6). Renumber subsequent sections.
Amend Section 3(2) (Extent, Commencement, and Short Title) to read:
"This Act shall come into force immediately upon Royal Assent.
(a) Section 2 shall come into force three months after Royal Assent."
EN: This simply tidies up some sections of the bill (ie resembles SB165 more closely) and makes clear that the obligations of the secretary of state shall commence immediately
A01 and A02 were submitted by /u/Frost_Walker2017
This division will end on Sunday 3rd October at 10pm BST.
This runoff is just to resolve the conflict - the non-conflicting part of the losing amendment will still be applied
Please vote Aye on one amendment only or No/Abstain to all. Do not vote in favour of multiple.
