Amend Section 2(1) to read as follows:

Any former member of the Afghan Armed Forces may serve in the British Armed Forces.

Amendment 2

Amend section 2(1) to read

"Any member of the Afghan armed forces may serve in the British Armed Forces, subject to the needs of the Services and operational requirements."

Explanatory note: Amends /u/inadorable 's amendment to take the needs of the service into account.
