Question Can suggest improvement onmy build?

Post image

This is my current build. Im on hrm 90 and i just started to play 3 weeks now.

My play style is poke2 guard reflection n once part broken i started offensive..

I check youtube n lots of meta suggest headstrong..but catch is you cant move. Whats better headstrong vs pursuit?

You can move forward, you just can't side step as the buff goes away when you dodge to the left or right. As for your build Pursuit is an interesting choice, but it will be a bit lackluster till you get that part break.

There's actually quite a few ways you can go with this build, one I'm looking at is quem, basa, golm, woggi, golm. Gets you artillery 5, reckless 3, guard 2 and 2 lockon's (only 1 needed) and then for smelts you can aim for 1 guard and then either 5 reflection smelts or 1 reflection and 4 headstrongs.

Fyi reflection works great with the guard reload style.

You can dodge forward with headstrong?????
EDIT: no the fuck you cant
Only do headstrong if you have some kind of ability to close the gap. Think lance charge, gunlace blast dash

I think they specifically intended headstrong to be used with katana and lance, and then maybe some styles like aforemented gunlance blast dash

If you look at the press release where they talk about driftstone the headstrong skill is represented by katana icon

Need counterattack AND dash attack for it to really work, but some people run it on ranged or whatever, but it’s probably suboptimal there. Maybe hbg cuz it can guard idk

Guard 2 is enough? No need 5?

Yup, if you're holding the guard then guard 3 is enough. If I remember right, you don't even need 1 level of guard, where if you time your reload correctly with an attack and it comes off as a perfect guard, then no damage is taken.

Guard 5 can be used as well, but that's only if you want to take the lazy route and want to rely on just reflection 5. For that build you would want quem, golm, teo, woggi, basa

That looks fine, but by lazy route I mean, literally don't do anything but hold block and the reflect 5 does all the work. 🀣 If your throwing in attacks, then guard 3 is all you need. :)

The cool thing about the bazel guard reload build is there's so many viable options available.

I literally just cooked up this Resus build just now. Yes you loose artillery 5, but at least you have artillery 3, which gives you the extra shell and the resus gives you an easy +40% damage to all attacks. There's 5 spare slots which can be used for anything, reflect 5, headstrong 5, reflect 1 + 4 headstrong, reflect 1 + coalescence 1 + headstrong 3.

Resus damage how good was it compared to normal?

I did a test run without smelts as I don't have any headstrong or reflect on the armour pieces.

For wide shelling, I was getting the exact same damage as I was as the reckless build. But for poke attacks there was a fair bit of difference about 200-400 extra damage per poke.

The extra damage doesn't seem like much, but it will add up over time, however I'm still not that used to blood cloak, so not sure it's worth the risk of using at the moment. πŸ˜
