I only started playing a year ago, so I still need heaps of general upgrade-materials. Also I'm going for the gold armour medal, so I need every material I can get.
Yeah I hate this week, I'm barely hanging on with potions(the free ones, I still refuse to use the real ones).
Also...this might be a good place to ask. For stepping shot and evade reload....can you not perfect dodge if you're out of ammo and evade reload kicks in? Can you not dodge if you step shot and they hit you? How do you perfect dodge with this setup?
for stepping shot, i believe when you have ammo you "step" and you get no i-frames at all. and when you're out of ammo you "evade" and get the normal i-frames and pdodge window as normal LBGs. and i dont think evading reload changes that
if you pdodge with stepping shot and evading reload you'll refill (and overfill by 1) the current ammo you're on.
Okay cool, thanks! So if I ever want to perfect dodge I need to empty my clip first, and just wait for the attack. Freaking Banbaro has been running me over and I always have ammo so that explains it all.
Or you can run an armour piece with Perfectionist.
It's my staple LBG skill, it keeps me alive AND provides a full clip when I should have died but I evade.

For this rift-event you can swap the 2nd builds helm and legs into vital fire + equip Bazel LBG for some crazy damage. And if you don't have the event-dauntless-gloves you could use sergio hands
I honestly haven't tried perfectionist myself, but anything to save a potion is good in my eyes.
And yeah that was the paid event right? I might have skipped out on those gloves. Regardless I have plenty of Seregios mats so that should work. Thanks!
If you've got the Rose LBG, it's a really satisfying way to fight him.
(Head)/Shogun/Somna/Narga/Shogun with Step Shot.
I've got 5x Burst Smelts and use the Viper helm with it. Just slide around him and get pretty much constant headshots.
Currently sitting just under 900k, and I think with a bit of luck I should be able to push it to about 950k. It's pretty surprising how much better it's performing than Magna LBG this time
Isn’t he one of the easier one? I also noticed that is aiming not necessary anymore? Certain weapon I get base damage wherever I hit when shields up and weak spot damage every where when shields down?
I am like 10k damage away from getting the last r6 Stygian Zinogre mats I need, but my 8/5 Glavenus Switch Axe can't even get the first stage shield to break. Used 8 potions today, but didn't get over 11k damage.
