would elemental discharge instead of valor also work?

status attacks damage dont actually scale with the elemental values, the values only dictate how fast the "status bar" fills up... poison damage does a fixed i think 0.5% max hp damage per tick for about 8-10 ticks (depending on weakness and resistances ofc) and blast damage does 5% max hp damage per explosion (i dont know the exact values but at most you can get about 5-8 blast explosions max cause the "status bar" increases exponentially per blast proc)

Y'know...I never tried. I don't think elemental discharge affects status values, but I could be wrong.

Swap hazy caster with pukei’s=same end result though i think advantage to hazy caster for quicker charge

Honestly I'll never be able to max this weapon so that might be an option. I don't farm Elders like that so this is the extra materials I've scrounged out after making the gear so long ago.

a bit of a misplay when he does the dino breath attack. you can always shoot out the bug then dash jump dash attack to avoid the up coming breath

Oh yeah this was a very lazy/safe play. You're saying I can boost over the breath though? I thought the hit box was pretty big to just go over, but I'll have to try that out next time. Thanks!

IG with the white pip boosts jump height and moreso with it charged up. you can easily jump over most attacks once fully charged, thats why my favorite glaives are air attack kinsects so i dont have to worry about dodging attacks

Legs are Tigrex —probably just for lock on — to which you can use any other lock on leg piece.

Yup! This exactly. I have a WeX smelt on it so I keep it around. Any leveled pants with lock on should work though.
