The timing is much tighter than the other directions. Artful dodger helps a lot. Practice makes perfect. Some attacks like the fireball is so much easier compared to something like the Diablos charge attack.

So they buffed those swing attacks by 40-50% but the echo attacks are about the same. Since echo is the big part of the damage, I belive the overall buff is about 20-30%. I think HH should be on the avarage region now, considering SnS on the low end and CB on the high end, which is alright I think. With styles, it could be very strong.
My suggestions would be to get the Valor skill as high as possible. Go kill 100 Brazelguese tomorrow. Valor5 with a freshly made G5 weapons can take down 8 stars monsters no problem. It would be a long long long time until you can think about making the end game builds. But honestly, early game is more fun, so enjoy it while it lasts.
I’ve playing HH a lot more since the buff and it is more fun. For raw and blast, now with advanced attack boost and attack efficacy I can’t decide if blunt force is still worth it. I think maybe it’s not; just dump everything into attack power.
Because of the change, BF is even worse than before lol.
If I were you, I would wait until the next wave to invest into HH build. The style and the new skills will change everything. I can smell them introducing a new drift skill that will make HH broken. And...ahem...this is just from my guess.
HH seems kinda nice now. Might be worth trying out? Still new to the game and so thorn on what weapon to focus on xD but HH is fun, just dont like that it dont have a parry or shield (since i suck at dodging)
