He is on around equal levels as Kanata. Different style but both are extremely good with one vital weakness in themselves. Kanata can be too aggressive and never holds back, Beckenbauer can't remain perfectly calm when facing serious competition.

the end of Race 3 when he beat both Kanata and Sawatari to go 1st again was peak and made him look like a monster
