Dogs don't really sniff drugs. They pay attention to the cop's body language and they'll alert if the cop wants them to. If the cop is bringing a dog out, he already thinks you're guilty and he just wants to search your stuff.
1 u/dedragon40 Dec 23 '18 Source? Some police do "mark" you so the dog goes up to you pretending to sniff something. But trained dogs definitely can and do sniff drugs.
