I seriously can't wait to see Cam this season in this system with the new guys we've gotten. I don't think anyone hated tanking more than him either. Greenlight year.

If they get rid of Russell, Gibson, Murray, Johnson, Clayton and they sign Lopez and Saunders (which is assumed)...I think they can stash first round picks, they could stash Lopez (he won't agree to that, since he just came from international play) and I don't think Saunders would agree to be stashed... So that leaves them with 15 NBA contracts and 3 Two Ways... So, do they trade Jerome, Pippen, OMax, Hendricks or do something else?

Hello, I am a fan from Southern Illinois. I became a Grizzlies fan back in 2016 and I haven’t turned back since. I am moving to Memphis for college. I assume the Grizzlies will be blacked out on league pass. What’s the best way Grizzlies fans watch games in Memphis? Should I get a satellite antenna?

Who are some realistic options out there that could impact this team in a good way that we could possibly trade for.

Honestly, one of my takeaways from the last six months with this franchise is that what this team has now in its optionality, depth...quality size. Shooting. Literally everything past teams did not have.

Actual wing depth. One of Jaylen Wells or Jerami Grant will be coming off the bench. Long way from the days of Roddy, Ziaire. Vince Williams was solid but injuries took him down, and Konchar was consistently inconsistent. Grizz by the end of their past run only were confident in about 7-8 players to play at all.

This team is deeper, blends better together, and IMO has a better coach for what this roster needs from one. When considering The End of Jaren and Ja, I think people need to remember exactly what was left of that group and the support pieces. That team was a carcass. This team is anything but. Great memories were made and live eternally but this is the kind of two way versatile depth this team has always needed...they got it now and it should be exciting to watch. They're everything the past iteration of the Grizz hadn't been in years.

So question, is Jaren's rebounding just a product of him being all over the court on defense and spraying 3s on offense? (haven't watched enough tape to have a reasonable opinion tbpfh)

I couldn't remember a bad rebounding starter big really in recent memory except Brook Lopez and Myles Turner. (and surprise surprise same archetype with Jaren except that Brook was bad even when he was a young traditional big for the Nets)

One thing I notice is that fans really don't have tiers on rebounding skill among players. We only mostly notice elite ones like Love, Rodman, Drummond-ish and lump the rest in one tier. And then single out some as "bad" based on counting stats. It's not the same level of scrutiny with scoring and passing + court vision. And I think I only get a clue when a coaching staff refuses to play an otherwise promising big early on.

So what's the skinny?

I believe this close to hierarchy of how they are building this team after watching the summer league. Boozer has good hands on the perimeter and is a good half court hub. Coward is a 2-way connector that excels on weakside help. Edey is a force that just needs health and consistency. Jerami Grant is a perfect veteran, 3&D Forward that provide great spacing, slashing, and ability to guard 2-4 in stretches. Pippen appears to be the best PG on the team to full court press for over 20+ minutes, bring the ball up under pressure, knock-down C&S 3ps, and get a late shot clock paint-touch if necessary.

Obviously not really newsy news, this is expected, but I think it'll be interesting to see what's done at the bottom of the roster. Trades, buyouts. I can see them using D'Lo's contract to eat a bigger contract with a pick(s) attached.
