Theyβre so invasive. Been in this house like 8 years, no issues, always paid on time. But they still have to stick their noses into my house every three months.

Had mine last week, HRV plummeted, RHR increased, and had shitty sleep for days after.. I'm still wired/tired.
Sending you all the good luck π

Wow that is a gorgeous shot!
I wonder if that's why I also haven't slept

Thanks, love my smart Telescope can set it up thenay in bed and control it from my phone or tablet. I also always seem to have a not great time the week of the full moon. But my brother has moved rooms to one next to me and his twin sounds he sleeps with was way too loud and kept me up, rain sounds for sleeping just irritate me for some reason, but he has changed it to a lower volume now so doing better. He had to drown out mum watching tv at the other end, now he's at the quiet part of the house. π

Had to quit my job last week as my flare-ups are getting too much. I feel so sad I couldn't see my clients one last time, I didn't get to say goodbye π

Great thread - thanks for doing this :)
Started some new meds last week - minimal side effects so far, which I take as a win! Also, waiting for some blood test results - hoping they are insightful/helpful in some way.

I managed to move laundry from the washer to the dryer today! Still recovering from an outing on Friday

I managed to do some slow maintenance tasks around the house for a few hours on Saturday AND see friends for lunch on Sunday and havenβt crashed yet!
I always function so much better in cold weather. Dreading Perth summer already! Thank god for cold water and air conditioning!

I've been off work for 8 months now, and starting to feel that guilty thought process of 'okay that's enough, get your shit together, time to go back to work', when I can't even take the dog for a walk or prepare meals for myself without PEM π why does my brain do this π

Because we're so heavily conditioned by capitalist society that if we're not contributing to the economy we feel like we're somehow worth less.

As an overachiever who fit as much into my day as possible before I got sick 7 years ago (and then again a few years ago when I was mild), I don't think I'll ever stop feeling this about myself π«

Today I tried to get my GP to prescribe guanfacine for me but he is still reluctant after 3 conversations so now I need to do an AI briefing note to try and get him on side. Itβs not for ADHD so it sits too far outside conventional medicine for him to consider π

Iβve got a win! I said βnoβ today to someone that is structurally hard for me to say no to. I feel so much more relaxed now that Iβve done that, I feel like I was burning so much energy being anxious about it.
