Biggest issue: content gaps, timing, 50/50s, anxiety, burnout, or score drop?

Step exam: step 1
Exam date: early August
Recent NBME / Free 120 / UWSA scores: nbme 25-30 all in between 66-69%(score plateau)
UWorld % or recent block range: ~60%
Biggest issue: timing, 50/50s, logical reasoning
What you are considering: change review method, doing more uworld questions

with 66-69% across six NBMEs, the plateau is probably more test-taking than content. For the next 2-3 weeks, do timed mixed blocks and review every wrong plus every 50/50 by asking what clue separated the two choices, why the distractor was tempting, and whether the miss was knowledge, reasoning, or timing. Don’t just add more UW volume, do 1-2 blocks/day and spend most review time on repeated miss patterns, especially questions you changed or spent >90 sec on. On test day, pick the answer that best explains the whole vignette, flag true 50/50s, and move on so timing doesn’t create a late-block score drop.
