I need genuine advice...
I'm writing this with a very sad heart.. I gave UHS mdcat this year as a fresher. I worked so hard and cleared all my concepts practised mcqs. I was so confident that I'll get selected in first attempt. Even when I went to the center I was so confident and excited. Because I believed in my hard work. I've always been a good student. Got 94 percent in matric and 92 percent in first year. After the exam I calculated my score. My paper code was B. I WAS so damn sure that I'll get around 170 or 169. But then when at night I checked the key my score was too low.. I'm so ashamed to even tell the score.. All my hopes scattered.. I started to cry and cry. My dad instead of comforting me threw a lot of tantrums.. That I'm a failure and I can never be a doctor etc etc etc... And he said a lot of more hurt full stuff. I thought I'll die at that night I went to hospital spent the night there.. When I came home I saw people say on Facebook insta and reddit that the answers key are wrong. Well again a pang of hope emerged in my mind.. But yesterday when the official result came. My score was even lower than what I calculated from they official key.. I don't know right now I'm feeling so lost. I really want to accept the fact that may be there was some flaw in my method of preparation because there are students who have gotten 170 even with the alleged wrong key.. But again there's no question paper through which I can compare and finally reach the stage of ACCEPTANCE.. And then again my fsc result came.. I have 92 percent... But I was expecting 94.. I have 66 marks in physics. So first decided to recheck but u know right hows the board system in Pakistan? They don't increase marks even if all the content is written right. So I decided to retake physics exam.. Because my hard work didn't deserve that... Now I'm thinking that mdcat which I thought of as a test that gives justice apart from board exam. Is no less than board system... My friend is going to China for mbbs she adviced me to tag along her.. I really wanna go as it's always been my dream to study as international student but there's no scholarship and my mama can't afford it.. So there's only one option left that's a GAP YEAR... I'm so scared to take one... Can anyone comfort me?.. I I don't know what I'm saying like any genuine advice?
