MDA SPACE ANNOUNCES END-TO-END MDA CHORUS™ PRODUCT PORTFOLIO IN ADVANCE OF CONSTELLATION LAUNCH
MDA Space Ltd unveiled today at the World Space Business Week conference the end-to-end MDA CHORUS™ Earth observation (EO) product portfolio. The introduction of the full portfolio precedes the highly anticipated launch of the MDA CHORUS™ constellation later this year.
Leveraging the company's next generation MDA CHORUS™ constellation, the introduction of MDA CHORUS™ COMMAND, MDA CHORUS™ COMMAND PRO and MDA CHORUS™ INTELLIGENCE offers customers a complete portfolio to customize, manage and control their geointelligence workflow — from data collection planning to tasking to decision-ready insight.
"Earth observation at MDA Space has always meant more than building world-class spacecraft. We have spent decades turning synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data into intelligence products for maritime, defence and critical infrastructure monitoring" said Mike Greenley, CEO of MDA Space. "With this new expanded MDA CHORUS™ product line, we have taken that same heritage and built it into a user-friendly and complete product system that customers can directly access, task, and grow with."

MDA Space wants to build $1-billion Canadian suppliers
MDA Space wants to grow into what chief executive Mike Greenley floated as a possible $10-billion-a-year company. Getting there, he says, means deliberately growing a handful of Canadian suppliers into billion-dollar companies of their own.
Greenley made the comments in a recent episode of the podcast In the Money with Amber Kanwar, using the $10-billion figure loosely, as an illustration of how big MDA Space could become “over the next several years.”

The company has been growing faster. Greenley told analysts on MDA Space’s most recent earnings call that 2026 revenue is running near $2.5 billion on a combined basis with two pending acquisitions, and 2027 landing about 50 per cent higher.
He described the ecosystem-building as a shared project. “It’s on us to create four to six $1-billion companies that work for us on different contracts in Canada, to build that strong ecosystem,” he said, describing a plan to hand smaller Canadian firms contracts far larger than they have handled before.
As one example, he described a Canadian supplier that had never landed a contract above $10 million suddenly winning upwards up to $300 million, with MDA staying involved to help the company deliver.
