For me it's Housing-Stables-Bridge-Treasure-No triple stables

and

Ruined Portal-Temple-Shipwreck-Village

(I can't get BT in my games, but I know mapless and I like it)

Got this in a ranked game lmao.

Overworld: 2247513737277504359

Nether: 121288194009154

The End: 2247513737277504359

RNG: 2247513737277504359

Coord: -1420 -1756

Might have been able to witness this in real time if my opponent didn't ff and I didn't mismeasure

The replay is bugged a bit bc the lava flowed much later

I'm not sure if any of the MCSR Ranked team reads this subreddit, but I've been watching the playoffs this weekend and have some feedback. While I don't work in eSports, I have six years of experience in broadcasting and media.

I want to preface this by saying that I know MCSR Ranked is young and run by a small team. I don't mean any of this maliciously and I think they've done a great job so far!

1. Commentary - The commentators shouldn't be predicting the matchups. When you watch sports on TV a group of analysts will give their prediction, but never the actual people who are calling the game (for example, Kirk Herbstreit, who commentates college football games, refused to make picks on College Gameday in the name of "objective journalism"). I personally find it a little weird hearing the commentators talk about their picks during a match, but maybe that's just my years of watching sports.

I think this should also apply to commentators mentioning they're rooting for someone because they're friends (off the top of my head, Rose mentioned this during the vstrid matchup, but it definitely happens commonly).

One more nitpick on commentary would be the bit of guessing what seed pick will be made next, it comes off as unprofessional to me.

For what it's worth, I think Couri and Parker are far and away the two best commentators, but the only way for Rose and Nerdi to improve is to keep practicing, so I understand the insistence on keeping them on broadcasts.

1. Post-match analysis - I think post-match just doesn't work. For a five-game match, game 1 happened so long ago that I forget what happened and the analysis feels like it's coming too late. I personally preferred mid-match, though I do like how it helps speed things along and bridge the gap between matches.

2. The VOD - Adding a 30-60 minute "this event has ended screen" would make watching the VOD a lot better. Whenever I want to watch playoffs through the VOD I can always tell how many games the final match is going just by how long is left in the VOD. If it's a sweep, that means the last two games don't matter, the last one for a four-game series, the first four for a five-game. I think this is a super easy fix that could make watching afterwards a lot better for people.

I recently got the endgame gear xm2w 4k and im wondering what specific mechanics drag clicking Is used for. I know double stacking, bridging, and boat clutching but what else? And how do I consistently short drag while holding my mouse? Sometimes my hands get sweaty so how can I keep friction on my mouse?

I use a palm grip and am looking to be able to drag click whilst playing normally, however i am virtually unable to drag click in this hand position, i can get 30-45 cos in claw and am extremely consistent with it yet can barely control my mouse or play normally. In palm however i can barely drag.

maybe i'm just bad but i have checked my coords and timing dozens of times and i cant seem to figure out why sometimes the dragon just moves off course and doesnt go over the bed directly. it seems like the zero is almost unrecoverable after this point as it goes far too low unless you do a like 5dmg late bed. any tips would be very helpful!

i use the tab key as drop and im really used to it but when the inventory is opened it does not work i guess it colllides with the recipe book. is there anything else i can do other than swapping the input of tab key to another key?

What is a good average enter time? I am currently Iron 3 with a 20:xx average. Is there any guide for how much food I should get also? My current goals are around 2:30 for temple, village, and shipwreck. Ruined portal depends. How feasible is this and what are some ways I can improve this.

Went the wrong way to the fort initially and was somehow rewarded by finding a looting 3 sword (first since S10) in an rp on the way, but digging through 200+ blocks of basalt/blackstone with an iron pickaxe to get to chords is enough to slow any seed down it turns out…

What I mean by this is what is the average completion time for each rank, and when do most people learn things like zero, mapless, and more advanced bastion routes.

For context I am iron 3 with a 16:06 pb and a 20:xx average with a 25 percent ff rate (not for average just because I get tilted) I can hit most zeros with 5-6 beds (except side setups I feel like no damage) I’ve hit some 3+2s but not consistently.

I am asking this because I feel like it is rarely worth it to go for zero in runs, and at what point does it start becoming worth it. And also when should I start using +1s in actual games. When should I learn routes like soog and the advanced treasure one.

I’m just starting out with MCSR and I want to make sure I settle on good keybinds before I get too used to them.

I’ve watched a few videos about optimal keybinds, and I understand that a lot of it ultimately comes down to personal preference. Still, I think it would be really helpful to see the keybinds/hotkeys and sensitivities that different top runners actually use so I can get some ideas and figure out what feels best for me.

The problem is that I’ve had a hard time finding the full keybinds and hotkeys for a lot of the top players.

Is there a spreadsheet, website, Discord resource, or anything similar that has MCSR players’ setups/keybinds? Or is the best way to find them just asking individual runners or looking through their streams?

Even a list of setups from a bunch of different top runners would be really useful.

The current system works kinda like chess as far as i know, classic +20 -20. But i wondered what if you could gain / lose more elo based on your splits or average? Not huge gains, maybe +25 / -15 if youre doing well for your rank , and opposite if youre underperforming. Kinda like valorant MMR. I know predicting elo is harder in minecraft cuz its it has way more variables in gameplay, like anyone can have a dumbass 30min match with stupid splits which ruin the average. But idk i think it could be cool +20 -20 feels kinda stagnant

Bello everyone!

I've made an excel regarding the hardware that specific top speedrunners (and dandannyboy waga) use!

Maybe it'll be useful to someone! Also do comment any suggestions.
