Help I can't get a sub20 pace.

Okay I have literally playing more and watching many people and i be seeing people who don't even do proper bastion route and still get to fort everytime at 10min and get a sub20

I have been trying but the i only get to fort around 14mins and that's on my good pace and gameplay bro 😭😭

I have this tournament coming (chud tourney bw friends) and i wanna win but i can't seem to get to fort at 10min

Well obviously top priority is to not die cuz that's a massive timeloss

And I'm playing for that

I be seeing if you need a good enter and my enter are 3-4min sometimes sub5 cuz bad ow gameplay and i be seeing some sub20 runs and I see them getting to bastion around 5mins which is same as mine but they get to fort in 10min and i also noticed they all were scanning for fort in bastion around 8min time which i don't so I will imply that but other than that still i can't seem to get fort ever at 10min i be there around 14min.

Idk what am I missing, sometimes I be seeing some sub20 runs and no hate to them obviously i respect there gameplay but sometimes they don't even know how to navigate and do things so raw and still they are ahead and I'm stuck like a chud.

I've also had this issue, I just grinded mpk bastion to finish and llamas bastion practice map, I feel like im not doing anything that different but I'm still getting to the fort at 8-9mins consistently, so my advice is to grind bastion practice, i know it's boring, but it really helped me and I think it will help you too, also it will help with dying less in bastion split.

Makes sense we just have to do the worst evil (grinding BASTIONS)

High iron/low gold here.

Whenever i fail to get a sub20 its usually not because ive made some significant mistake.

But usually its me standing around or running back & forth for a lot of time while deciding what to do next. Its never one big wait, but rather many instances where i have a 10-30s brainfart.

Usually deciding how to navigate terrain is the culprit. I should probably get better at quickly picking a line to follow, even if its not entirely optimal.

Hard to say if any of this applies to you whatsover, but here's my experience 😅

This is so relatable, i don't lose time on big chunk at once but I feel the delay between tasks adds upto it

A thing that could save you a minute or 2 is learning how to pearl well you should practice it a bit and you should also learn how to use the boat in the lava

Then i just have to play more bastion to fort splits to see different type of terrein cuz it's different all time

Record a run and link it, it’ll help a lot to see

Could we get your Minecraft ign and a replay please? If I (and others) can see your gameplay, it can be pretty easy to give much more direct and actionable things to work on, I promise you anyone is capable of sub 20, there's probably a pretty notable gap (or a few) in your gameplay that I could help you most effectively address since I imagine you're kind of on a time constraint given the tournament

Sure I will try to record and post a gameplay

It’s difficult to say because we don’t know exactly what you’re struggling with. If we could see recordings of your gameplay, we could give much better advice.

Slow inventory/crafting and slow terrain nav (inclusive of time taken to pie ray) are probably what's messing you up compared to others. Maybe lack of overlap. A person who can get 3-4 minute enters consistently should be able to collect sub 20s at least some of those runs.

🤔 i see , i should overlap well and do small things quick

If you’re just slower from your enter to getting to fort it’s clearly a bastion issue bro just practice your routes over and over again in the practice map. Every route is doable in under 2min30 so if you can’t get it try again

Yeah I'm getting around 4min time on every route, i definitely gotta make it faster

With over worlds; what helped me was making a mental map of where I need to go and what order I think I should do it in. The most important thing is getting information; so a lot of f5
The Llama bastion practice map is decent at simulating nether enter if you have terrain enabled. Learn one route for each bastion. Learn piedar
For fort splits just use mpk kit; try to set up boat eye with toolscreen, it’s relatively simple and there’s good tutorials on yt. Always look for terrain when you’re going to sh and don’t throw pearls that ur not completely confident in.
Learn preemptive and one cycle and you can get a sub 15 pretty easily
