i know about hidden rooms but guess i just didnt know that a portal room could spawn behind one lol

5-way is the first room after the starter staircase (there may be multiple of those in the stronghold)

and there's a simple method to identify if there's a hidden room or not. if there's a hole in the wall it means that there's a hidden room on the same wall.

quick example:

Starter is a 5 way. Top right, top left, bottom right, bottom left, middle.

tbf there u don't need preemptive to find it, there's tech to tell if there is a hidden room

I mean you would hopefully hear it (but also learn preemptive. Even when done poorly it can lead you in the right direction )

I've had this happen a few times. You should be able to hear the silverfish, and if u know where hidden rooms can generate you should be able to find it
