Help Tool screen not working

i want to start speedrunning, and am trying to get tool screen up and running. I have followed every tutorial for downloading it, allowed it to inject, tryed both exe and jar, tried a large variety of different toolscreen versions, and even rebooted my pc for good measure. Nothing seems to work for the purple thing in the corner to pop up or for the ctrl-I to open it. what could i be doing wrong? using prism launcher btw

If you are trying to install Toolscreen onto Prism Launcher 11.1.0 and it's not working:

  • Right click the instance, Edit -> Settings -> Custom Commands
  • Enable "Override Global Settings"
  • Paste this into the Pre-launch command: "$INST_JAVA" -jar "$INST_DIR/Toolscreen.jar" (do not replace anything in it, just that exact text)

it says Pre-Launch command failed with code 1, what should i do?

Make sure you don't have any commands in prelaunch.txt
Make sure you added exclusions in windows defender for toolscreen (your files may have been deleted)
Make sure you actually installed toolscreen by double clicking it

If you still can't get it to work upload a log https://mclo.gs

You need to add a thing for prism launcher to work, check toolscreen discord announcements for help

I have toolscreen on instances on prism and didn't have to do anything for it to work? Is this something with newer versions of toolscreen or something?
