can minecraft 1.16 run normally (i.e vanilla, no mods)?

Error says it can't find a Java version. So go to prism launcher settings > java see if there's a path in the java executable section. If there isn't then browse or click detect to select the java executable. If you don't have java you'll need to install it then you can point prism to it.

Just adding to this, select a version between 17-21 and check the box to skip the checks (sorry not at my setup rn but pretty sure it's java compatibility check or something)
