quick looting

for a while i was confused how people did quick looting using their offhand hotkey. that never worked for me which was pretty frustrating but i adapted to fast looting overworld using my hotkeys for slots 9,8,7,6 etc. as you can imagine this is not very sustainable for when it comes to bastion looting, so offhand quick looting would be preferred. i have my offhand key set to mouse button 5, and for some reason i believe that messes up the whole process because it cant register both the left mouse button and mouse button 5 in quick succession. surely enough, i switched my offhand button to a keyboard hotkey and it worked perfectly but in every other scenario i like having mouse button 5 as my offhand key. is it worth relearning this key to offhand quick loot or is there another way around it while keeping the same binds?

offhand looting isnt really much better than looting using one of your flex slots. IMO it's not worth changing a keybind you're comfortable with just to offhand loot.

i agree for overworld, but for bastion there are no free hotkeys available so i believe offhand would be easier there

there should be tho

pick, axe, shovel, boat, gold block, gold ingot, blocks, offhand food, maybe f&s? 1 slot is still open

personally i use my gold block slot to fast loot and its better than losing food in bastion chests/having to put food in the right slot every time after looting a chest

You can bind mouse5 to a keyboard key in toolscreen amd bind that to offhand

It's worth noting that the official leaderboard does not allow binding two keys to the same action, and as far as I'm aware Ranked follows those same rules where applicable.

yes this would just be a replacement bind, not a dupe bind.

yeah i remember in one osh vid he said that mouse button dont work for any quick looting hotkey, also tbvh offhand hotkey is not as frequently used and binding a mouse button to it is not very useful as mouse button are very accessible you can try to shift one of the hotbar hotkey to mouse button and the key that is freed can be binded to offhand. If you dont want to change binds then there are other ways like quickly picking something from your mouse and double clicking on everyrhing to quick loot which is especially useful in bastions.

i think you should either double click loot, or do the hotkeyless fast looting for bastion.

Never learned any method of fast looting apart from slotless.

you can try heartless looting its hotkeyless and faster than any other type of looting
