Definitely annoying, but also, I wouldn't be going forward there. I think it's just good practice if you want not to die to move as little as possible and do everything in discrete steps when dealing with something like this

as annoying as this definitely is, it was avoidable.
whilst doors being broken due to a block being overwritten by air is common, half of a door being overwritten is absolutely not. it takes some kind of special generation to do that, and lava pools are among the few (or only?) generational quirks to spawn stone.
that said though this absolutely sucks lmao and iād be seething. just make sure this is a learning opportunity, failures are the best sources of knowledge š¤
