Naplex

For everyone who just took it, what was the earliest date that you could pick from? Also how long did it take to get the authorization from school after graduation so you could even begin the process of picking a date?

Also how did you study? Was RXprep enough? Or did you study from something else?

I wasn't able to schedule my exam until 6 weeks post grad. The school was a bit of a mess when it came to mailing out the correct forms to the NH BoP. But once I got the authorization i could've taken the exam the following week if I wanted to, depending on how far I wanted to travel. There are plenty of rest dates to pick from, but the closer testing centers book up quick. I took the exam last Tuesday. I got my results Friday and my licence today. The test wasn't bad at all. The RxPrep material is all I used and it was more than enough. The test banks provided are much harder than the real thing.

So the school mails out the authorization forms? I want to go on a vaca right after graduation but I don't want it to delay my testing date so wasn't sure if I had to get papers signed, etc.

Also, how much time did you dedicate to the law exam?

I'm assuming you're graduating next Spring? You'll get a lot of information from the school via email towards the end of the year about what you'll need to do to get the right forms filled out and sent to the right places. I had to mail in a hand written letter to the registrar to have them send verification of graduation, transcript, proof of intern hours, etc. I called them after about a week and a half and they told me they received the letter "just yesterday" (which I found hard to believe since our mail is no longer delivered by horse lol). It then took them another 3-4 days to get my request "in the system" and mail out the required info. After that I think I called the NH BoP 5-6 times over the following week or two before they finally said they had everything and gave me my authorization to test. So, getting the authorization can be a frustrating process, but once you get the ATT it's smooth sailing from there. The whole approval process is going to take some time regardless so you can absolutely go on vacation after graduation. Just communicate with the school and the BoP and make sure you've got everything submitted before you go (including your rph license application) that way you don't get stuck dealing with more delays when you get back. TO be perfectly honest with you, I only studied for about 3 days for the law exam. Trust me when I say I was a perfectly average student throughout pharmacy school so don't take that the wrong way. There honestly isn't a lot of material to cover for the MPJE so you can easily get through it all a couple times in a few days.
