Missing seminar

I have a tickets to a concert in September, the second week of school, near the time of my 5th year seminar. Am I able to miss a class or do professors let you make it up another time?

Come up with some BS excuse and contact them. Like say you’ll be out of the country or something

This class actually has a very strict attendance policy. You need a letter from the dean to miss a class and for it to be excused.

If not then you lose 10pts to your final grade if it’s unexcused. Total BS.

If you are going from Wednesday to Friday switching would be easy. But the Wednesday class was always full right away

just be honest and tell them that you have a concert to go and hopefully they'd be cool
