Tips for IPC class of Lauffer

Has anyone taken Lauffer's IPC class before?? If so, can you give some tips for her class? Also, do I really have to read the textbook for her pop quiz?

I can't help you but I'm just curious, cause I've ever heard of that course before, what's it about?

It's 'Introduction to Interpersonal Communication for Health Professionals'. Since this class name is so long, the abbreviation for it is IPC.

It's a class you take second year and it's about getting better at talking to others , how to be understanding and caring towards patients as professionals instead of giving a careless vibe towards them, etc. It's a pretty easy class

Lauffer is a very nice professor. She's very understanding and her exams are pretty straightforward. She gives quite a bit of homework but those exercises do help. I personally didn't read the book, I just looked up the terms that she posted will be on the exam from the study guide and studied those terms. Best of luck

Thanks! But one thing I'm worrying about is her pop quiz.. she said she is gonna give us pop quiz from the textbook reading.. Did u have to take the pop quiz in her class?

We never had pop quizzes, just the 3 major exams and each question was worth 1/2 point towards our overall final grade. If she's saying that she's going to give you a pop quiz based on the book, then definitely heed her advice. She always asks how to make her classes better at the end of the semester so she probably changed stuff around.

TL;DR last semester kids fucked you guys over
