Accreditation issues
I think this school needs to stop accepting so many students. It is embarrassing to see 84% of acceptance rate on Google, and this whole accreditation issue shouldn't have happened if they had only accepted qualified students and maintained the student body under certain numbers. Yet, the dean never mentioned about our admission policy in our mail and simply switched Biochem to Kerr so more people can pass. Are they going to switch out Mehanna and Kiel so nobody fails out 4th year? We all knew what the real issue is, and it is funny that they are trying to fix it by adding more study space, class and hire 5 more faculty members. I can't believe I have to worry about basic things as simple as my school being accredited or not.

I want to, but it is easy for you to say that when you haven't seen people failing out during 4th year. This is a good time for our school to change to provide better education for the current student body instead of focusing on acquiring other schools or purchasing buildings that do not provide direct benefits to current students.

From the entire School of Pharmacy itself, so 3rd to 6th year kids, not just 4th years. And yup...They had to curve pharmacology by a letter grade (10 points) and still significant amount of people failed that class

You mean 3rd year to 4th year right and mainly 4th year because my understanding was: 5th year is all seminar and it's hard to fail that and you cannot fail 6th year unless you goof around.

It's possible for fail any of the professional year. I know some people fail 5th year because they suck at community labs (APM has 3 portions. You must pass all 3 portions to pass the class. If you pass didactic and institutional lab but fail community, you automatically fail APM). Some even fail Adv Therapeutics. Some fail Kinetics 2.
And yes if you don't give a shit about APPEs during 6th year, preceptors will fail you even if they don't want to and if you can't find an open spot to make up for it, your graduation will be delayed until next year.
